She is a member of the National Coalition of American Nuns. By the way, don't you just love when radical groups call themselves National Coalitions or Congresses or Centres? So very, optimistic, if not a little humorous.
The TimesColumns has some interesting comments... Did you know that Jesus would have been an abortion clinic escort? Me neither. Or how about this one "It should be noted that the Sister serves as an escort, protecting women in need of healthcare of various kinds from people who attack them. I consider her status to be very comparable to a Quaker who serves in combat as a medic." I just did not know that pro-life protesters attacked and (tried to kill?) pregnant women going into abortion clinics. You learn something new every day.
